Mary was six years old and lived in an african slum. She was one of the fortunate few, chosen to leave the poverty of slum life and gain an education. Mary was given a set of new clothes, fed daily and taken to church. During one of the songs, Mary started to jiggle. At first it looked like she was dancing to the music but when the music stopped Mary continued to jiggle. It was clear there was something wrong. Thinking she needed the toilet Mary was brought out of the service. It was discovered she had a four inch long worm crawling about in her underwear. Most likely Mary had swallowed the eggs of this worm by drinking from a poor water source. What other choice did she have is there was no clean water? Mary was lucky that she got the simple medication she needed. If she had not been chosen she would eventually died of starvation.
