For any charity to make a real impact to poverty, they need people who are willing to be committed to the cause and who will support regularly.
Become a Partner
An Abaana Partner is someone who understands the needs of children in Africa and has chosen to make a difference by giving on a regular basis towards our ongoing projects. These include building schools, water wells and the rehabilitation of street children to name but a few. To date we have been able to impact thousands of childrens' lives through the provision of accessible education, clean water and medical care. We can only do this with help from people like you.
We are looking for individuals or groups who will give a monthly donation to our work. It doesn't need to be a large amount but we ask for a minimum of £5 per month to become a Partner. This is just 17p a day. Alternatively you can choose to give quarterly or annually as suits your financial situation.
£5 is approximately: € 6, US $8, CAN $9, AUS $10
What do I Get?
When you become a partner, you will receive a welcome pack which gives some history and background of how Abaana started. Included will be our most recent newsletter providing information of our current and most recently completed projects. We will also add you to our monthly e-mail newsletter (if desired) and send you quarterly update letters by post. Most of all you get the satisfaction of knowing you are helping children have better prospects for the future.
Can I Pay Online?
Yes you can set up secure monthly payments online using a debit or credit card. We have this facility for the following four currencies (Euro, Pound, US Dollar, CAN Dollar). If you currency is not present, your credit card will still work out the exchange rate. (set up online now )
Can I Pay by Standing Order?
Yes if you have a UK bank account. Download the forms here (PDF / Word Doc ) or request one to be posted to you by emailing your interest along with name and address to the follwing website admin@abaana.org. If you are outside the UK, you can use the online system above or send money via cheque (payable to "Abaana") to our address in the Contact Us section.
