Calendar of Events!

- February: Ladies’ Pamper night on 29th Feb in Holywood –
- Treatments, chocolate & lots of fun! All ladies are welcome to
- come along and pamper themselves.
- March: 15th March is the start of the Sponsored Lock up.
- The target is to raise £40,000 in 40 days to build a school. Let us know if you want to take part by being locked up or locking someone up!
- April: Ten Pin Bowling Competition Thurs 10th April @ Dundonald IceBowl
– Last time we had great fun, and raised over £2,000. We need people to organise teams, be part of a team, have a great night and help children in Africa.
- May: Monday 5th - Belfast Marathon –
This year we hope to have over 100 people taking part in this healthy and fun day by running (or walking!) in one of the events. Info and sponsor forms available from our office. (If you have a marathon in your area – why not take part in that?)
10th – 26th May - Ladies team to Uganda – we laugh, we cry, we love.
- June: Quiz night & Barbecue –
Good craic & good food, a great evening’s entertainment.
- July/August: Summer teams to Uganda –
During the summer we will have several teams in Uganda, including our usual Youth team (17+). Check out the website to see what teams are available.
- September: Karting (Eddie Irvine’s) –
This one will appeal to the male competitive nature, but everyone is welcome. You will need to raise a minimum fee before entering the competition. It is sure to be an event of adrenaline and speed as you compete to be the karting champ!
- October: Auction –
In October we are planning a big auction. We are looking for special items from signed memorabilia to the zany and bizarre.
- November: Concert –
Come and hear the music.
- December: Fast for Africa - Join with us in supporting children in Africa this Christmas by participating in our yearly sponsored event. Get sponsored for fasting for 12-24 hours or choose another event. You can get sponsored for anything!
Carol Service – For our final event of the year we are hoping to have a candle lit Carol Service. It will be a great opportunity for you to invite your family & friends to come and celebrate the season, and introduce them to Abaana.
