Description
Christ the King Primary School, is situated around 30km north of Kampala. When we first visited the school in 2006 it had three classrooms made from mud with tin roofs. It was encouraging to see that the school had made many of its own resources, and were trying their best to give the children an education.
In the summer of 2007 we had two teams from Northern Ireland visit the school. Bangor Grammar School was the first to arrive in July and started the building. Later Ballyrashane Presbyterian Church worked on the second set of classrooms. Both teams raised a lot of money, and between them funded the building of the new school.
