Emmanuel Oboro

In February Emmanuel had several operations to repair his skin and the damage caused by severe burns. In the initial operation Emmanuel had skin grafted from his thighs to his neck. Unfortunately the veins were not able to transmit blood for this to work and so Emmanuel had to have a further operation. This operation grafted skin from his lower abdomen to his neck and was successful. He is still in pain and receiving treatment to recover from his wounds.

Christmas Team 2009 - 2010

Matthew Cardwell Nursery

New Sports Equipment for our Schools!

Strathearn Primary is built in Uganda

Strathearn School sent two teams in July to help with the construction of Katalemwa Primary. They raised over £52,000 for the project through a variety of different fundraisers and we would like to say a huge thank you for all their hard work and effort!

Abaana out in force at the 2009 Belfast Marathon

On the 4th May 2009, around 16,000 people pounded the streets of Belfast to take part in the Deep Riverock Belfast Marathon. Over 30 of them were running/walking to raise vital funds for Abaana's projects in Uganda, including building schools and street reach programs. Even Bugs Bunny turned up to support Abaana!

Janneke, aged 6, swaps sweets for clean water!

The New Life Spring Ball

Ballyrashane Presbyterian Team Report
