First Team of 2012 return with stories to tell The first of our 2012 teams to head out to Uganda consisted of just three members – Alwyn, Hazel and Rodney, each of whom are Abaana team veterans!

They had a great trip, delivering a health education programme to over 2000 children and adults at 6 of our schools, giving out mosquito nets, providing careers advice to the boys at the New Life Homes and much more!

Kony 2012 If you have been watching the media recently you can’t have missed the Kony 2012 campaign.

Invisible Children released a controversial video clip that has become the most watched video on you tube with over 80 Million views. The aim was to make Joseph Kony; one of world’s most wanted criminals, famous and put pressure on the international world.

Abaana is committed to help the people of northern Uganda in the aftermath of the Kony Reign. We are building schools, developing farming and microfinance projects and helping the people of this area to build a new future for themselves.

But why not break the mold a bit and download one of our lovely Abaana wallpapers. It might provide a talking point in the office..but if nothing else it’ll give you something to look at when you’re not playing solitaire!
