Would you like to make a difference in Uganda this Christmas? Abaana's Team will be working with street children and sharing the gift of Jesus in a practical way. For ten days over the Christmas period this team will be bringing smiles to the faces of children who have never received Christmas presents, don't expect a Christmas dinner and have no idea who Santa Clause is.

Belfast Marathon 2010

This year's May day saw the streets of Belfast thronged with enthusiastic runners and walkers of all ages taking part in the Belfast Marathon. Abaana supporters were no exception. These are the comments from a couple of young men who ran the full 26 miles to raise funds for Abaana projects.

Emmanuel Oboro

Emmanuel Oboro is doing better after his operations earlier in the year and his last wound dressing was on 27th March. His wounds have now healed and he is not on any long term medication. Emmanuel does get pain under his scars when the weather is hot and receives medication for this pain. Emmanuel loves to play indoor games with the other boys at the homes.

Abaana out in force at the 2009 Belfast Marathon

On the 4th May 2009, around 16,000 people pounded the streets of Belfast to take part in the Deep Riverock Belfast Marathon. Over 30 of them were running/walking to raise vital funds for Abaana's projects in Uganda, including building schools and street reach programs. Even Bugs Bunny turned up to support Abaana!

Janneke, aged 6, swaps sweets for clean water!

The New Life Spring Ball

Ballyrashane Presbyterian Team Report

A mixed team of 22 people from Ballyrashane Presyterian Church, travelled to Uganda in August for 2 weeks to build at Christ the King Primary and run free medical clinics.
