Our Youth Team this year is again being led by volunteer Paul Totton. There are spaces currently available for up to 24 volunteers. The team will be involved with practical work such as building and painting at Abaana's projects alongside running a children's club for some of Abaana's Primary Schools. Team members will also have the opportunity to meet and work with children living on the streets of Kampala and at our New Life Homes projects. This is an exciting venture by fasa www.fasaonline.org in which 10 adults will pair up with 10 young people giving them an opportunity of seeing poverty first hand. By getting involved and helping make a difference has the added benefit of giving them a fresh perspective on their own lives and futures. They will be involved in working with street children in Uganda through Abaana’s Street Reach and New Life Homes projects and will also get practical with carrying out a building project.
