As a Christian organisation we believe it is the responsibility of the church to lead the way in meeting people’s needs. The Bible has a lot to say about stewardship. That is, how we deal with our time, our money and the gifts that God has given us.
You can challenge your church congregation and your youth about this.
How your Youth Group or Organisation can help...
- Invite us to give a presentation, or do one yourself!
You can take the lead yourself and we will send you information and resources for you to use. If we can, we would love to come and do a presentation in your church or youth group. Please contact us.
- Run a fundraiser
Its much easier to run a fundraiser with your friends than on your own. And as a group there are hundreds of things you can do from sponsored walks or stay awakes, to car washes, cake sales, and bag packs. Fill in our contact form and ask for a full list of great fundraising ideas.
- Sponsor a child
Perhaps your youth group would consider sponsoring a child in Africa, so that they have the same opportunities from Education that you have.
This is a great experience for teenagers to learn what school is like for a child in Uganda. You can write to your child who will in return write 3 letters a year to your group.
It costs just £14 a month to sponsor a child in Africa to go to School. For a group of 20 that is just 70p each! The whole £14 goes to Africa where it pays your sponsor childs school fees, buys their school uniform, and provides them with exercise books, stationary, and a lunchtime meal everyday.
