Abaana uses two different payment systems for online sponsorships. If you are a UK or European based sponsor, GoCardless is our preferred method for setting up your online sponsorship. For anyone based in the rest of the world, Worldpay would be our alternative method.

GoCardless
GoCardless is an online Direct Debit platform which allows us to charge your sterling or euro bank account directly each month for your sponsorship. You can create a digital mandate through the sponsorship process on our website, which will give us the authority to request funds from your account. GoCardless payments will be taken monthly and, as Direct Debits, can be cancelled at any time, either by getting in touch with us at info@abaana.org or by cancelling the mandate with your financial institution.

Worldpay
Worldpay is an online payment provider that will charge your debit/credit card on a regular basis for your sponsorship. Online agreements are set up through our online sponsorship process and payments can be arranged to be monthly, quarterly or annual, depending on which option you choose when setting up. The system can be used from anywhere in the world, providing you have a Visa, Amex or Mastercard. Agreements can be cancelled at any time, by logging on to your online Worldpay customer account or by getting in touch with us at info@abaana.org.
