Your Unwanted Stuff Can Help Change Lives in Africa!
A great way to raise money for Abaana and clear some of the unwanted items from your house is to sell through Ebay.Ebay have teamed with Mission Fish, and if you donate 100% of the proceeds you get all the seller charges back. You can also add gift aid to the donated amount. So how do you sell an item for Abaana?
1. You need to set up a donation method (from ebay to mission fish – who collect the money for us)
Log into your eBay account and go to the section tab Account -> Personal information
Towards the bottom there is financial information and you can choose how to send your donation. For most people this will be Paypal. (Once you have sold your item, it is seen as a “cash gift” from you and therefore can be gift aided). You need to do this before selling any items for Abaana.
2. Log into your account and choose to sell an item, but make sure you choose the “advanced” tab.

3. Once you have input the initial details of your item and chosen the correct category, you will get a page where you can input more details. “Create your listing- page” . Near the bottom you will have a charity option. You will NOT see Abaana listed here, but you can find us by selecting “Select another charity.”

4. You will be taken to a “select a charity” page. You can either type “Abaana” into the “Charity name or Keyword” box and search or Select “A” under browse by name.

5. Under browse by name we should be on first page. Find Abaana and click on the select button.

6. Finally you can choose your donation percentage (10-100% percent) and you can choose to gift aid your donation to make it worth even more.

7. Once the item has sold, you will be asked to donate the amount to Abaana through Mission Fish, who will then pass the donation to us.
