Overview

Dr Andrew McAvoy Memorial opened in January 2009. Around 420 children now attend this school in classes from Nursery to Primary 7.

A plot of land is being farmed on the 10 acres of land that owned by Abaana, and these crops help to supplement the school children’s meals.

The school now has a football pitch, javelins, shotputs, discus and footballs courtesy of the George Best Foundation.
