Life can be difficult enough for a child living in poverty in Uganda, without the added struggle of sickness and disability. Unfortunately for Paul Bakulu, who was born into a family of eight, he learnt this at a young age.

So many children in Uganda face abuse in its many forms each day of their lives. Richard had to be rescued from his abusive uncle. At the age of 11, Abaana was able to take him in and restore his hope.
